Mujeeb Rahman

Our Chairman Mr. Mujeeb Rahman started off as an employee at Malabar Gold and Diamonds, Calicut in 1993. Through his work ethic and dedication, he rose through the ranks to become a branch director and later on moved to the wholesale division. Having had an experience of close to 30 years in this field, he was inspired to follow his dream of starting his own business. He decided to step down from all of his positions and duties at Malabar Gold & Diamonds to focus on his dream. After starting his own manufacturing company in Hyderabad, in 2012, and a polished diamond unit in 2018, he started Emin Gold & Diamond, a designer jewellery company in Kerala, with the same passion with which he drives forward every day. His aim was to remove middlemen and supply directly to other jewelleries at the lowest price possible by using cutting-edge technologies.

Our director’s involvement in the jewellery industry began when he joined Malabar Gold and Diamonds in 2004. He spent many years working in Malabar Gold and Diamonds before moving to Qatar and abiding as a purchasing manager for a supermarket, allowing him to gain numerous managerial skills. He took the initiative to start his own business in Hyderabad in 2012 with the help of his mentors Mujeeb, Mansoor, and Ramshad. They helped him elevate his confidence level and earned multiple skills from Malabar Gold and Diamonds. His ability to use his past experiences and skills within many professions has allowed him to become the successful director of Emin Gold and diamonds.

In 1991 he started a gold retail shop in Perambra which he ran for 6 years. Later he started a manufacturing unit in Kammath Lane with 10 goldsmiths and then moved into a vellayil house which housed 25 workers from Thrissur. Malabar Gold inquired about setting up a manufacturing unit. Having over 600 employees in 7 units in Calicut, Thrissur, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Bombay under his leadership helped Malabar gold and diamonds greatly. Shaheer, Ramshad, and Mujeeb, joined hands with him soon after he left Malabar Gold and Diamonds in 2016. The factory supplied wholesalers throughout many states with uncut and precious jewelry. Emin Gold was born as a result of 30 years of successful experience in this field. His background in the field has greatly assisted in advancing the venture.

Director
He began his journey in 2006 when he joined the Malabar Gold and Diamonds Kannur branch as a Staff. He got the opportunity and utilized it to the maximum, which led him to be the person he is now. During the beginning years of his career, he worked hard and worked forever, and with his achievements, he became self-confident and passionate about this profession. Then, he joined Malabar Gold and Diamonds Hyderabad as a Purchase manager with his performance. Later on, after gaining exposure and experience in the field, he climbed up the ladder and reached the heights he is in today.

Executive Director
As a staff in Malabar Gold & Diamonds Mysore Branch in Jan 2010, he was given a transfer to GCC due to his outstanding performance and interest. Operating in a branch of Malabar Gold and Diamonds in Qatar, he continued his career. Due to his fidelity and sincerity, he led the diamond section within the diamond section of his branch during this period (not clear). Following a decade of experience, he decided to start his own business and join forces with Emin Gold and Diamond to make breakthroughs in the gold industry while hoping for the best and striving for success.
